2 die in Sibugay road mishap

COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Two persons died while eight others were injured when a truck rolled over in Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay on Sunday.

Pastra Jain, 47, and Hashim Antol, 53, were declared dead on arrival in a hospital.

Jain and Antol, along with eight others, were traveling along the highway in Barangay Baga when their Ford Ranger pickup figured in the accident.

Driver Jomar Abdurahman said the truck’s front tires burst, causing him to lose control of the wheel.

Abdurahman and the seven injured passengers were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
