Babyface to stage back-to-back Manila concert with Patti Austin

MANILA, Philippines — Two music icons are sharing the stage in October as Babyface pushes through with his Manila concert, this time with the legendary Patti Austin.
Ovation Productions announced that Babyface will serenade his Filipno fans with his many ballads on October 27 at the Mall of Asia Arena. Patti will, likewise, entertain the R&B-loving Filipinos with her own hits on the same night.
Babyface was originally scheduled to perform in the country on July 14.
Babyface is a 13-time Grammy-winning artist who did not only record his own hits, including his most popular song, “Every Time I Close My Eyes,” but also wrote songs for other artists.
Born Kenny Edmonds, he wrote and produced songs for Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Madonna, Boyz II Men, Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Celine Dion, and Filipino-American Bruno Mars, to name a few.
Patti rose to fame via her duet “Baby, Come To Me” with James Ingram. She also wrote and sang the popular song “Say You Love Me.” Her other songs include “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes”, “If I Believe”, “You Gotta Be”, “In My Life”, “It Might Be You,” and “Rhythm Of the Streets”.
