Everything from the sand and surf came splendidly together at this years Bora Bound weekend. Motorola took the helm at this fun-filled event and "Boradise" got a major revamp as the stunning, new 3G-capable Motorola v3x invaded its sun-kissed shores. The three-day weekend summer getaway was jam-packed with exciting activities and parties that filled the senses to the brim. Sun-worshippers and beach bums were treated at 3G hot spots right on the beach to experience two-way real-time video calling, video streaming and Internet access using the v3x handset. And the highlight of the 3G technology was a simultaneous broadcast of two pulsating parties happening at the same time, as Bora Bound celebrated a wonderful weekend at Cocomangas, and Hed Kandi at Hey Jude, the two-way video calling capability of the V3X made everyone experience both parties at once.
I have a few summer raves/ rants: traveling to Boracay was made much more memorable, not because of any big corporate event, dance party or adventure series, but because of the many new friendships made, and old bonds made even stronger. The natural beauty and splendor of our countrys most breathtaking vacation spot will always create an atmosphere of solidarity and unity among all of us in this wonderful scene of ours. It is unfortunate that there are those who fail to respect the sanctity of the "good vibe." When Big Fishs Pixie Cheah kicked out Stephen Ku (DJ Tiesto producer) from her Boracay Hed Kandi event, even after he had been promoting the same Big Fish event in his own Boracay Bound party series (they even had the same sponsor), it put a dark cloud on what could have been a more festive culmination of a very enjoyable weekend. Such behavior in our industry is uncalled for, and the uproar it caused among luminaries and society bigwigs will definitely have ramifications. The pioneering efforts of Big Fishs original creators Domini Primero and the late great Tuck Cheah have made them the biggest and best dance event producers in the country. What we love about Dom and TC is their genuine love for the music and, more so, the lovers of music: the fans. Hate and jealousy have no place in the scene. Heres hoping that the Big Fish of old returns.

I usually enjoy the fruit shakes at Jonahs, then catch the sunset at Nigi-Nigi.
Andrea Tetango
How long does it take you to dress up in Bora?
Not long. Since Ive been going to Boracay every year and, honestly speaking, Im quite comfortable wearing a swimsuit.
Bianca King
How would you describe partying in Bora?
Honestly, all the partying can be tiring. I prefer to sleep early so I can wake up early to enjoy the morning sun.
Nina Estacio
Do you go through fashion crises at Bora?
No, because my style is easy, natural and fun like Boracay.
Rachel Tan
How often do you change outfits in a day in Bora?
One for sunbathing and then another, usually my hottest bikinis, for the night scene. I never repeat bikinis.
Kelly Misa
Do you need to apply makeup during the day at Bora?
I personally dont wear makeup on the beach, especially in the daytime. It is not a pretty sight after going swimming or staying out in the sun for a few hours. It gets runny, sticky and blotchy.
Mia Villavicencio

Cocotini embellished bikini tops, because theyre glamorous and unique.
Precious Baque
