It’s French spring in Manila

- From the Philippine Star’s YS -
Partygoers and techno beat lovers moved to the beat of electronic music at the "Soirée DJ" at the NBC Tent, Fort Bonifacio last June 7. In cooperation with Radio France Internationale, French Spring in Manila 2002 gathered the Filipino youth to a dance party, featuring French DJ Willy Richert, who hosts RFI’s Eklektik.

As part of the project DJ Volants (Flying DJ’s), DJ Willy treated the guests to the latest in techno and electronic beat, in the hope of promoting French music in the Philippines.

Filipino disc jockeys also partied with the guests from 9 p.m. until midnight.

"Soirée DJ
" was supported by French mobile phone-maker Alcatel, Alstom, known for its advanced technology in power generation and heavy industries, and trend-setter Girbaud.
