The Pen voted 7th best hotel in SE Asia

MANILA, Philippines – Readers of international travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler voted The Peninsula Manila among the world’s Top 15 Hotels in Southeast Asia (not including Singapore or Bangkok) in the November 2015 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.

The hotel – the only representative from the Philippines – made it to No. 7 in the much-coveted list, garnering an average score of 87.574 percent from a survey in which more than 128,000 discerning global travelers took part. This was the largest number of participants to date in the 28-year history of the annual Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards survey.

The Readers’ Choice Awards recognizes the world’s Best Hotels and Resorts, Best Cities, Best Islands, Best Airlines and Best Cruise Lines. Regional rankings for each category are also prepared for Europe, India, China, Japan and North Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and Central America, South America, Australia and the Pacific.

The Peninsula Paris and The Peninsula Shanghai were named the Best Hotels in their respective countries, along with The Peninsula Hong Kong, which was voted in 8th position on the China list. Other Peninsula hotels in Tokyo, Bangkok, New York, Beverly Hills and Chicago also rated in their respective top City Hotels list.
