MANILA, Philippines - When Xander Angeles tells you that he wants to shoot you, scream. And be super flattered, of course. The man behind Edge of Light studios gave celebrity heavyweights Ruffa Gutierrez, Georgina Wilson, Solenn Heussaff, Maxene and Frank Magalona, Lovi Poe, Megan Young and Pauline Prieto, among others, offers they couldn’t refuse when they gave him their fiercest poses for the VisualZine exhibit last May 18 at A. Venue, Makati City.
A collaboration among Edge of Light studios, Team Manila and Raymond Gutierrez, who served as creative director, VisualZine is a limited-edition fashion magazine showcasing the best of modeling, photography, makeup and hair artistry and fashion styling in the industry today. The exhibit also served as the launch of The Fashion Academy, where specialized courses in photography, makeup and hair styling, modeling, fashion styling and personality enhancement are offered, along with the unveiling of the highly anticipated Elite Model Look search. Others who graced the event with their glittering presence were Angel Locsin, Liz Uy, Divine Lee, Phoemela Barranda, Jon Hall, Alyanna Martinez, Bubbles and Paolo Paraiso and Rich Asuncion.
