Tips for brides and grooms at Wedding Expo Philippines

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Philip Encarnacion, president and CEO of Richgold Weddings, advises, “Begin by identifying your wedding date. A date of your wedding says it all. For example, you have chosen to get married in the hot April heat outdoors, then a summer wedding theme is obviously appropriate. If you want to get married during the cold Christmas season, then a winter wedding theme is for you.”

Once you have identified your wedding date, it is easy for you to choose the mood for your wedding, and RichGold Weddings offers a number of themes that are suitable for a particular season.

Another approach according to Philip is to identify your wedding venue. If you decide to hold your wedding at a beach resort, then a summer wedding theme is definitely for you. If you want to get married at a farm or a ranch, then you can go for a spring wedding thing. And if you opt for the traditional church wedding venues, then you can probably add flavor by dressing up the venue with an autumn or fall setting.”

“Choosing a wedding theme is just the beginning. You have a lot of things to prepare. But the good thing is, once you have your wedding theme set, you already have the blueprint of your wedding, which makes it easier for you to make it perfect,” adds Philip. “What follows next is the color motif, the music, as well as the ambiance you want to create, up to the designs of the invitations.”

Wedding Expo Philippines is on March 9 and 10 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex.
