The Face Shop holds its 4th anniversary blowout

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Face Shop, Korea’s number one cosmetic brand, celebrates its fourth successful year in the Philippines with exciting promos for beauty junkies this July.

For its anniversary shopping spree promo, for every P1,000 purchase of regular items a customer gets a chance to win P40,000 worth of products of her choice.

A customer who purchases P2,000 worth of regular items gets The Face Shop gift certificate worth P200 instantly, while a customer who buys P2,500 worth of regular items gets The Face Shop gift certificate worth P500. Use these gift certificates on your next purchase in July, or even combine them in one transaction to avail of higher-priced items.

For makeup junkies, The Face Shop gives a free gold purse for a purchase of P1,500 worth of regular makeup products.

Created just six years ago in Korea, The Face Shop has quickly become Korea’s top-selling cosmetic brand with over 900 stores now open in 20 countries worldwide.

In 2006, The Face Shop was brought to the Philippines by Suyen Corporation, the powerhouse behind Bench. Since then The Face Shop has opened branches in rapid succession in several major malls around the country, including Manila, Cebu, Pampanga and Bacolod. To date, The Face Shop is present in 24 locations nationwide, and will open its 25th branch at Newport, Resorts World in Pasay City soon.

The Face Shop‘s secret to success consists of three major concepts that define the brand: nature, variety, and value. Following the brand’s main philosophy of “Natural Story,” each product is formulated with the finest natural ingredients, using the most sophisticated technology. This is in perfect sync with the global trend towards working with the natural environment, utilizing natural, organic products, and striving for environmental responsibility. The Face Shop offers a wide range of quality products for men and women of all ages at affordable prices.

Of course, the stars behind The Face Shop’s campaigns help, too. And they’re not just pretty faces — Korean idols Bae Yong Joon and Gianna Jun are credited with helping put Korea on the pop culture radar. Bae Yong Joon, in particular, is famous for sparking the Hallyu, or Korean Wave, in Japan and throughout Asia with his hit drama series Winter Sonata. With his gentle smile and masculine appeal that elicits screams from women of all ages, Bae Yong Joon perfectly represents The Face Shop’s clean, sophisticated, and natural image. Likewise, Gianna Jun’s classic and natural beauty embodies the ideal of the lovely and healthy woman the brand targets. This Korean star gained worldwide recognition in the 2001 romantic comedy My Sassy Girl, which became an international blockbuster, and earned Gianna the Best Actress Award at the 2002 Daejong Film Festival. Last year, she made her English feature film debut with the action flick Blood: The Last Vampire, and will next appear in Snow Flower and The Secret Fan in 2011 alongside Hugh Jackman. She also recently made her small screen comeback in a new Korean drama entitled Four Seasons with Asian superstar Rain.

In 2009 The Face Shop was awarded the prestigious and only brand-related award by the Korean president — the 11th Korea Grand Prize Brand Award.

Moreover, at the onset of 2010 The Face Shop announced its acquisition by LG Household & Health Care (LG H&H), an established leader in Korean household goods and cosmetics. This move puts The Face Shop on an entirely new level including a new look for its upcoming new stores and more aggressive product development.

The Face Shop is located at Glorietta; Power Plant Mall; Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City; Robinsons Galleria; Robinsons Place Manila Midtown Wing; Shangri-La Plaza; The Podium; Eastwood Mall; Shoppesville Arcade, Greenhills Shopping Center; TriNoma; Alabang Town Center; Festival SuperMall; SM Megamall; SM North EDSA-The Block; SM Mall of Asia; SM Sucat; SM Southmall; SM Fairview; SM Taytay; SM City Pampanga; SM City Clark; SM City Bacolod; Ayala Center Cebu; and SM Cebu.
