A sweet send-off for the ambassadors

MANILA, Philippines - Our very good friend, the Ambassador of Chile Roberto Mayorga Lorca hosted an elegant dinner in honor of several departing ambassadors at his charming home in Dasmariñas Village, Makati.  It was a night filled with reminiscing and best wishes for the heads of foreign embassies  Ambassadors Christian Meerschmann of Belgium, Valeriu Gheorghe of Romania, Wilhelm Donko of Austria, Joaquin Daniel Otero of Argentine Republic, Nguyen Vu Tu of Vietnam, Dr. Joachim Heidorn of Germany, Harry Thomas, Jr. of the US, and Mohsin Razi of Pakistan who are set to take their leave after completing their tour of duty here in the Philippines.  Their lovely spouses were also a little teary-eyed as they said their fond goodbyes to their treasured friends in the diplomatic circle.
