Valenzuela Host Lions Club marks 47th anniversary and induction
MANILA, Philippines - The Valenzuela Host Lions Club of District 301-D1 heldits 47th anniversary and induction ceremonies on Sept 8 at the Grand Ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel Makati City. Guest of honor and speaker was Valenzuela Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian, while District Gov. Gil M. Mostoles inducted the new club officers for LY 2012-2013.
Officers were president Nenita L. Mostoles, who is also the first lady of District 301-D1, IPP Benedicto Daza, 1st VP Benjamin Mendoza, 2nd VP Guo Cheng Zhi, 3rd VP Pablo Lucas, secretary Erlinda Urrutia, asst secretary Rita Francisco, treasurer Gloria Dueñas, assistant treasurer Dhel Ngo, auditor Angelica Flores, PRO Norma Suarez, tail twister Danilo Mangon, lion tamer Jess Lao. Membership directors are PP Leticia Cheng, PP Maria Lucas Go and IPP Benedicto Daza. Members of the board of directors are Mila Mendoza, Dr. Ryan Sabino, Myrna Jornales, Karangalan Serrano, Nelia Lucas, Ledoven Quiles, Nora Mendoza and Marites Candido, for one year; Abbe Daza, Danilo Go, Enrique Urrutia, Pol Azares, Augusto Gispin, Phillip Sabino, Jose Marcelo and Joel Borbe for two years. Board of advisers are headed by PDG Angelina R. de Leon and all past presidents of the club.
Masters of ceremony were past presidents Sergs Garcia, Maria Lucas Go and Lion Mar Correa.
