Kung Food Dimsum Double deals at Super Bowl of China

Super Bowl of China offers its “Kung Food Dimsum Double Deals” promo. Ongoing until Aug. 31 on weekdays, diners may order any of the restaurant’s regular dimsum menu items (except for the dimsum combination platter and dimsum add-ons) and get another order of the same dimsum item for free.

The promo is for lunch between 12 noon and 2 p.m. and dinner between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. available on all weekdays. Choose from its dimsum menu of hakao (four pcs. x 2 of fresh steamed shrimp dumpling) for only P 130, steamed pork siomai with meat and shrimp (four pcs. x 2) for only P120, BBQ pork siu pao (three pcs. x 2 of steamed sweet buns with tasty pork asado filling and rice sauce) for only P110, double servings of chicken feet in semisweet and mildly spicy taosi sauce for only P95, crispy vegetarian spring rolls (six pcs. x 2) for only P95, and deep fried wonton filled with seasoned ground pork served with sweet-and-sour sauce (six pcs. x 2) for only P120.

Spider-Man donuts from Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme rolls out the Spider and Spider-Man Donuts, which put an epic spin on the melt-in-your-mouth donut: one is filled with chocolate cream rolled in carat chocolate and crushed Oreo cookies then dusted with a Spider-outlined coating; the other is charged with strawberry filling and coated with Spider-Man’s face using vanilla-colored icing and satin iced candy. Available Until July 15, these latest additions to Krispy Kreme’s line of premium products allow everyone to enjoy a blast of Spider-Man mania.

Gerry’s Grill offers kinilaw na hipon with diced chili pepper, onion and vinegar as a favorite appetizer. Dusit Thani Manila’s Umu Japanese Restaurant offers teppanyaki specials fresh off the grill. Business lunch at Buddha Bar

Buddha Bar Manila serves lunch from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Mondays to Fridays. With its business lunch menu starting at P750 and up per person, the starter dish is Salad Mesclun with Shiitake tossed in Japanese vinaigrette. For the main course, diners can choose from grilled pork belly in Asian BBQ sauce with vegetable keba, the Malabar-spiced hanger steak with cucumber raita with herb butter vegetables or chicken curry with mango chutney and vegetable pakoras. Inulukan at Kabisera ng Dencio’s

Kabisera ng Dencio’s introduces its brand of Filipino cuisine with dishes from the Bicol region like classic laing or inulukan, Kabisera’s take on the dish of gabi leaves and coconut milk stew simmered with crab and buko strips. Other dishes include the Bicolano version, the Kandingga. This unique mix of sautéed minced beef lungs is given the right spark with chopped siling labuyo and diced onions and simmered in vinegar with a hint of coconut. Sinanglay is fresh pink tilapia stuffed with onions and tomatoes steamed in a spicy ginger-coconut cream sauce and served on a bed of sautéed sigarilyas or wing beans.

Rib eye at Outback Steakhouse

Outback Steakhouse offers its “Ribeye Steak Out,” where the steaks are marinated for 24 hours before they are cooked. There’s the seasoned and seared Ribeye (P1,455), grilled over an open flame using Outback Steakhouse’s secret 17-seasoning blend; the Chargrilled Ribeye (P1,455), steak with a rich hint of espresso seasoning for an extra kick. There’s also the Tuscan Marinated Ribeye (P1,495), an Italian-inspired steak marinated in olive oil, rosemary, burgundy wine and spices; and the Garlic Ribeye, a steak for true garlic lovers (P1,495), topped with marinated, sweet, roasted garlic cloves. All are served with a choice of two freshly made side dishes.
