MANILA, Philippines — Former actress, commercial model, and now Leyte congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez revealed to Philstar.com her secrets to standing out and being named “Best Dressed” at red carpet events like the president’s State of the Nation Address (SONA).
“I’m really geared toward the sleek and simple silhouettes,” Lucy told Philstar.com in an interview following the awarding of winners of design competition Balik Saya.
“The color, the fit has to be perfect. The style has to be suited to your body type,” she advised.
“I’m really all about clothes that I could wear and forget about. So fit for me is very, very important. Simple lang naman my choices, really. I just want it simple, solid color.”
