The Kashieca-JC Buendia collection pays a lot of attention to what the woman of today needs. Its logo, which bears an illustration of a frog in a bowtie wearing a crown, is representative of how the collection can work for any body type and make one stand out. “I wanted clothes that will fit most body types as most of my friends have been complaining that designers only make clothes for thin women. I designed clothes that are easy to wear, pieces that are comfortable yet chic,” said JC.
The collection, which was inspired by the TV series Downton Abbey, is unique because of the cuts. Shirt pants in the collection can be worn in different ways and tulle was also used to provide unexpected details. Its all about the love for functional elegance and grace.
Prints are muted by full colored classic pieces that are must-have wardrobe staples. Clean silhouettes anchor the collection and make it wearable regardless of body type. Below-the-knee hip-hugging skirts with accents such as chiffon lining and subtle drapery make it easy for career women to transition their look from day to night. Sky blue and earth tones with accentuated elements add character to power dressing in and out of the corporate world.
Casual chic is perfected with soft cotton tops that can be matched easily with a pair of shorts or leggings.
