MANILA, Philippines - Plains & Prints reinvents denims with the launch of its DNM collection this month. “We have been in the industry for a long time and we have been offering the basic essentials on what every woman should have in her closet. These are your fashion staples, pieces that never go out of style like your little black dress, basic white tee, and your favorite denim in dark wash. So Plains & Prints reinvents the classics with its very own version of DNM Boutique S and DNMs. We infused the Plains & Prints style into our signature denims, like our straight boyfriend, always skinny, and sexy boot. These are just some styles to watch out for from our newest collection,” says Roxanne Farillas, creative director of Plains & Prints.
To launch the collection, Plains & Prints collaborated with Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP). “PMAP was the top choice to represent the line as we firmly believe that they represent the best local talents and we also want to support the local fashion industry. We wanted to highlight our Filipino made products, as we are one of the few remaining fashion houses that produced locally using Filipino ingenuity and talent. The best way to promote this all-Filipino campaign is to collaborate with the best Filipino talents,” adds Farillas.
PMAP members are equally excited on this joint project, as they believe that the Plains & Prints project, promoting timeless styles, features the modern woman as strong without compromising her femininity. This strength and unwavering beauty also goes to describe the women of PMAP. It is also timely , as PMAP celebrates its 25th year anniversary this year. 
Farillas explains that”the idea of the first DNM tees collection came when we were venturing back to basics. These are basic essentials and staples to complete our wardrobe fundamentals. We launched a basic collection line about two years ago highlighting white tops. Then we transitioned from the classic and reinvented the look to update our basic white tee collection and DNM Boutique S collection was created. This collection is inspired by the majesty of the solar system, thus it was named after planets (Neptune, Pluto, Earth, Venus). Each item reflects its own drama and creativity with fashionable draping, unique fabric blocking, and sophisticated overlapping. It is a very modern take on the classic white top and one can dress each piece up and dress it down for office wear or a night out with friends. It’s a perfect investment piece that will translate to several seasons.”
Women want their denims to have great fit and stylish cuts. So Plains & Prints produced it in various washes and textures - the skinny, boot cut, and straight cut denim which can be converted to boyfriend jeans when folded. Trendier cuts include harem, shorts, cropped cigarette and wide leg pants.The DNM collection is a definite must- have for every fashionista.
