Destileria Limtuaco Museum: A testament to the company’s entrepreneurial legacy five generations and counting…

MANILA, Philippines — On Jan. 29, Destileria Limtuaco & Co. Inc., the oldest distillery in the Philippines, opened the Destileria Limtuaco Museum to the public. The museum had been kept as the family’s private museum for over 30 years, and 2018 marks the 39th year since 4th generation master blender, Julius T. Limpe, purchased the Intramuros property.

Starting the opening ceremony was current Destileria Limtuaco CEO Olivia Limpe-Aw. She spoke of the company’s contribution to local trade, culture and most recently, tourism.

The museum is the first, and to date, only wine/spirits museum in the country and is home to stories of not only the company but the family behind it. The end of the tour also featured a tasting of the company's products which can be availed at an additional cost.

The Destileria Limtuaco Museum is located at 482 San Juan de Letran St., Intramuros, Manila.
