Gallery News: Fernando Kabigting and Antonietta Chan at ArtistSpace, Ayala Museum

MANILA, Philippines -  Fernando Kabigting and Antonietta Chan hold “A Rediscovery,” which is on view until June 19 at ArtistSpace, Ayala Museum, Dela Rosa St., Makati City.

In “A Rediscovery,” Kabigting aims to convey a number of discoveries of simple truths, while Chan depicts countries and cultures, nature and architecture, art and life.

The show is presented by ArtistSpace and Museo Iloilo.

‘Driven to Abstraction’ at Renaissance Gallery

In celebration of its 11th anniversary, Renaissance Art Gallery presents “Driven to Abstraction,” which is on view until June 24 at Renaissance Art Gallery, Art Center, fourth floor, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City.

Featured artists are Max Balatbat, Bien Benitez, Benji Bisaya, Marco Coching, Arley Carig, Jane Ebarle, Fitz Herrera, Josef Laureano, Sio Montera, Cid Reyes, Aner Sebastian, Resty Tica and Valen Valero.

Highlight of the show are works of master abstractionists National Artists Hernando R. Ocampo, Jose Joya and Arturo Luz, as well as Malang, Romulo Olazo, Gus Albor, Lao Lianben, and Nestor Vinluan.

‘Best of the Philippines’ at Prince Hotel, HK

In celebration of Philippine Independence Day, 14 Hong Kong-based Filipino artists hold “Best of the Philippines,” which is slated from June 12 to 29 at Prince Hotel, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Featured are the works of Pintura Circle artists Abigail Camaya-Hills, Grace Pineda- Camacho, Irene Bernarte-Haagen, Stella Tansengco-Schapero, Joyce Herrera-Wong, and Bono Albania-Connor, Jun Cambel, Justo Cascante III, Nida Hemedes- Cranbourne, Cheryle Cranbourne, Janet Pancho-Gupta, Jhoie McNally, Manuel Rubio and Bobit Segismundo.
Established in April 2012, Pintura Circle aims to promote art and raise funds for charitable causes.
