Hoseki, one of the country’s premier jewelry design authorities, recently held an exclusive preview and afternoon tea event at its store at The Podium in Mandaluyong City for Manila’s most glamorous jewelry enthusiasts.

The brand is under the leadership of visionary founder Faico, corporate affairs director Zabeth Co, partner and chief creative officer Knoi Esmane, CEO Grace Co and COO Harold Co.

Guests enjoyed a closer look at the brand’s spectacular pieces, which showcase Hoseki’s unique artistry and impeccable craftsmanship, born out of the minds of the company’s pool of young and talented designers consistently trained to continue the legacy by which the firm was established.

Congratulations to Hoseki for a successful event!

A year-end thanksgiving

A glamorous group of ladies lovingly called “JL and Co.” recently held a delightful year-end thanksgiving of sorts at No. 8 China House at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

The gathering was a celebration of your columnist and my long-time friends from the business and social sectors amid the restaurant’s delicious array of Cantonese dishes.

No. 8 China House is Metro Manila’s latest destination for authentic Chinese cuisine.  Guests enjoyed the very modern space with show kitchens and live stations where we marveled at the feast being prepared before us, the star of which was the Peking Duck, which was slow-roasted in a specially built wood-fired oven.

It was an unforgettable celebration of friendship and fine food.

Thank you for a wonderful night, ladies! *
