Glam & glee

Cheerful smiles and warm hugs marked the first get-together of the lovely awardees of the 2013 Best Dressed Women of the Philippines at the Makati Shangri-La. 

The occasion was the briefing hosted by the Philippine Cancer Society (PCS) chairman Dr. Roberto Paterno and executive director Dr. Rachael Marie Rosario. 

This year’s 12 Best Dressed awardees are Mandaluyong City Councilor Charisse Marie Abalos, Tiffany Chua Copok, Mags Calpito Cue, Princess Violago-Dee, Jerika Ejercito, Maila Garcia, Zamboanga Sibugay Rep. Ann Hofer, Marites Gonzales-Lampert, Lauren Lior-Liechtenstein, Jacqueline Michelle Cañiza Lim, Carol Mercado and Nikki Tang with Elaine Rojas Villar, Katrina Ponce-Enrile, and Joyce Peñas Pilarsky as Style Icons. 

Best Dressed event chairperson Angola Consul Helen Ong said this year’s awardees, as always, are all committed to participate in activities that would help raise the necessary funds for PCS’ pertinent research to raise cancer awareness in the country.

Now on its 10th year, the annual Best Dressed Awards Ball will be held on Sept. 25 at Makati Shangri-La’s Rizal Ballroom.  Major sponsors are Smart Infinity, CATS Motors Inc., Lifestyle Asia and Crossover 105.1 Manila.
