Resort Luxe
Summer is sizzling hotter than ever! As temperatures rise and Holy Week begins to unfold, sun worshippers, stylesetters, industry insiders and the rest of the flock begin their exodus out of the city to their vacation destination. In the coming days, resortwear will be the new wardrobe (or should I say getaway staple) as the beachside landscape becomes a sea filled with city dwellers. With the variety of trend forecasts at hand, one cannot resist bringing a suitcase full of day to night options. Whether it be a parade of bold brights, seduction of sheer fabrication, fanciful display of chic prints, glimmering allure of metallics in bags, shoes and accessories, style is welcoming the season with luxury. Contrary to the global economic crunch, fashion maybe taking a step back but style is moving forward. Be it minimal, piled up, contrasting or mix-matching manner, the look and meaning of luxe become timeless.
As we create our own personal definition of this current style statement, Multiple Choice, with the fashion styling class of the School of Fashion and the Arts (SOFA), interprets the vision of the youth on what luxury is all about this summer.
