Galerie Francesca and S Maison recently presented “Art For Red,” a charity art gala and exhibit, which featured the works of the country’s hotshot artists, dahlings.

Featured artists were Benjie Cabangis, Michael Cacnio, Ross Capili, Valeria Cavestany, Dansoy Coquilla, Thomas Daquioag, Mario de Rivera, Vincent de Pio, Gregory Halili, Raul Isidro, Raul Lebajo, Romeo Lee, Carlo Magno, Jason Moss, Juvenal Sanso, Ian Veneracion, Roy Veneracion, Nestor Olarte Vinluan, Betsy Westendorp and Edwin Wilwayco, among others.

The fun part was that guests were able to participate in the humanitarian efforts of the Philippine Red Cross, which is the beneficiary of the week-long exhibit.

Philippine Red Cross (PRC) chairman and CEO Richard Gordon attended the event, together with PRC secretary general Atty. Oscar P. Palabyab and Susanne Tiausas of Galerie Francesca.

They even sold Filipino Artists in their Studios Volume 2, a collection of portraits photographed by José “Pinggot” Zulueta of Manila Bulletin and artworks of the Philippines’ most prominent and legendary, as well as emerging artists at their private workspaces. This is a take-off from Filipino Artists in their Studios Volume I, which had a series of “The Artists Gallery” exhibits at  SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM Aura Premier and SM North EDSA The Block.

Check it out, palanggas. After all, “Art for Red” is one of the many cultural events at S Maison.

The grand toast: Marc Soong with Jason Soong, Autostrada Motore Inc. chairman Willie Soong, Maserati Asia’s Filippo Caracciolo, Italian Ambassador Giorgio Guglielmo and JP Enriquez

Zoom! That  sound was from a gorgeous Maserati 2018 Model Year lineup that just whizzed by at the Grand Ballroom of the Shangri-La at The Fort. The grandioso launch was headed by Autostrada Motore Inc. big boss the tarés charmant Wellington “Willie” Soong with namedroppable guests like Italian Ambassador Giorgio Guglielmo and Maserati regional sales manager Filippo Caracciolo. Headlining the 2018 model year lineup is the restyled GranTurismo.

“GranTurismo is a genuinely Italian car concept pioneered by Maserati. The GranTurismo model is the latest Maserati designed by Pininfarina and since its launch in 2007 it has evolved into one of the most iconic GT cars ever built.” explained Filippo C.

“The Maserati Design Centre team in Turin approached the MY18 restyling by treating the timeless design with utmost respect. The car’s new ‘sharknose’ hexagonal grille is inspired by the Alfieri Concept and adds a three-dimensional effect to its frontal view,” added Filippo C., palanggas.
