Kim Yong Ji announces surprise wedding, reported pregnancy

MANILA, Philippines — Korean actress Kim Yong-ji surprised fans with news that she has tied the knot, and that may not be the only family update she has been keeping hidden.
The "Somebody" artist posted on Instagram photos of her in a wedding dress with her partner, whom Korean media reported as a non-showbiz Japanese citizen.
"I'm now married. Thank you for congratulating me," Yong-ji said in the post's caption in Korean, accompanied by an otter emoji. The pictures also showed the actress and her partner with their dogs.
Kim Go-eun and Bae Jung-nam, her co-stars on "The King: Eternal Monarch" and "Mr. Sunshine" respectively, had shared over the weekend photos of the wedding ceremony, congratulating the actress in accompanying text.
Yong-ji and Go-eun's friendship date back to their days at the Korea National University of Arts.
"Tale of the Nine Tailed" co-stars Kim Bum, Hwang Hee, Jo Bo-ah, and Lee Dong-wook, as well as "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938" co-star Ryu Kyung-soo were also present at the wedding.
Some local outlets reported that Yong-ji announced after the ceremony that she and her husband were expecting a baby girl.
After making her debut in "Mr. Sunshine," Yong-ji went on to appear in "Watcher," "The Lies Within," "The King: Eternal Monarch," "Tale of the Nine Tailed," "Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938," "Somebody," "Doom Doom," and most recently, "The Art of Sarah."
