MANILA, Philippines — Alleged drug queen Guia Gomez-Castro has been charged with murder before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office for the killing of a “ninja cop” who failed to remit the proceeds of his drug peddling in 2011, police said yesterday.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said they have a witness who claimed Castro hired a gunman for P50,000 to kill Pat. Roderick Valencia, a suspected reseller of seized illegal drugs under her payroll.

The witness is detained at the Manila City jail for violation of possession and selling of illegal drugs, he said.

“The witness was instructed by Castro to hire a gunman and was given P50K for the contract to neutralize then Pat. Valencia for failure to remit huge amount from the drug deals he owed to the DQ (drug queen),” Eleazar said.

The witness, however, claimed Castro’s police cohorts took the initiative to silence the gunman who killed Valencia, Eleazar said.

Castro and his “ninja” cohorts were accused by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) director Aaron Aquino of being behind the mass distribution of shabu in Sampaloc, Manila.

Castro, an elected barangay official of Sampaloc, reportedly left the country last Sept. 21.

The US government cancelled Castro’s visa on the request of the Department of Justice and she is now considered an illegal alien.

“As far as our recent monitoring, Castro, her husband Dennis and brother ex-cop Florencio Gomez are still in the US,” Eleazar added.

Eleazar said the arrest warrant for Valencia’s murder would come out soon so it could be used in the deportation proceedings against Castro.

Eleazar added they are also readying charges against Castro’s cohort policemen who resell seized illegal drugs.
