LIVE: Senate probe into DOT ad placement controversy

MANILA, Philippines — The Senate blue ribbon committee on Tuesday will conduct an inquiry into the allegedly anomalous P60-million advertisement placement made by the Department of Tourism with state-run PTV.

Confirmed to be attending the hearing are Tourism Secretary Berna Puyat, former Tourism Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo, Tourism Undersecretary Kat de Castro, Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, Teo's brother and Bitag Media CEO Ben Tulfo, Tourism Promotions Board officer-in-charge Arnold Gonzales and PTV officials.
