'Jusa' Joy Barcoma brings wit to 'Unang Hirit' as newest host
MANILA, Philippines — Miss Philippines Earth 2025 Joy Barcoma will be the newest host of GMA morning show "Unang Hirit."
In its episode earlier today, the "Unang Hirit" family welcomed Joy to its long-time running morning show.
“What a joyful morning, mga Kapuso, lalo na’t kasama ko ngayon ang pinakabago nating ‘UH’ housemate at ang nag-iisa ‘Jusa’ Joy Barcoma!” host Suzie Entrata-Abrera said as she introduced Joy to the show.
Joy finished in the Top 8 of Miss Earth 2025. Natalie Puskinova of the Czech Republic eventually took home the crown.
The beauty queen actively engages with her Facebook followers, with whom she shares her thoughts and jokes with. She also posts her thoughts on controversial and trending topics, even joining the series of Trillion Peso March rallies last year and earlier this year.
