Newcomers, repeaters and veterans are among Bb. Pilipinas 2024’s Top 40 candidates
The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) has unveiled the Top 40 candidates who will compete in its 60th edition.
This year’s list of hopefuls boasts of a combination of fresh faces, pageant veterans and former Bb. Pilipinas contestants who were selected during the closed-door screening at the New Frontier Theater held recently. They were chosen by a panel composed of reigning Binibining Pilipinas queens and the BPCI Executive Committee.
Trisha Hernandez and Gracelle Distura previously joined the Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) 2021 and 2022, respectively, while Shannen Manzano was a former Miss World Philippines 2021 bet.
On the other hand, Zeneth Joy Khan was among the Top 20 semi-finalists at the Miss Philippines Earth 2020 and Samantha Acosta was an ex-candidate at the Miss Philippines Earth 2017.
Bb. Pilipinas’ returning beauty queens are Shaira Marie Rona from 2021 edition, and Trisha Martinez from 2023 batch who was among the Top 11 semi-finalists and winner of the Miss Tourism Philippines 2021 title.
Charisse Abanico and Ma. Flordeliz Mabao from the Mutya ng Pilipinas 2022 pageant, Mae Kimberly De Luna from Mutya ng Pilipinas 2018 and Hiyas ng Pilipinas Queen International 2022 Phoebe Godinez are also taking part in Bb. Pilipinas 2024.
The other Bb. Pilipinas 2024 aspirants are Aleckxis Chuidian, Carmella Cuaresma, Christal Dela Cruz, Corrine San Pedro, Erika Ballon, Geraldine Buenafe, Jasmin Dingson, Jasmine Bungay, Joyce Anne Garduque, Kara Villarosa, and Kristin Baconawa.
Joining the list are Kylie Atiliano, Liezle Jones, Maria Jajalla, Marikit Manaois, Monica Acuno, Myrea Caccam, Myrna Esguerra, Mythosela Villanueva, Nicklyn Jutay, Rendell Ann Caraig, and Roella Frias.
Rounding up the roster of Bb. Pilipinas participants are Roselyn Evardo, Sheny Sampang, Sheryl Velez, Tracy Mae Sunio, Vera Dickinson, Vienne Feucht, and Zianah Joy Famy.
The current titleholders are Bb. Pilipinas International 2023 Angelica Lopez and Bb. Pilipinas Globe 2023 Anna Valencia Lakrini who won second runner-up at The Miss Globe 2023 international pageant. Last year’s first runner-up was Katrina Anne Johnson and Atasha Reign Parani was second runner-up.
