MANILA, Philippines — Content creator-musician Boss Toyo purchased the coffin used by Dingdong Dantes in the movie "Rewind" for a quarter of a million pesos.

In a recent episode of "Pinoy Pawn Stars" series on his YouTube channel, Boss Toyo was visited in his shop by an individual from St. Athanasius Memorial Chapel in Manila.

Funeral homes businessman Pasky Ilagan brought the imported brown metal casket used by Dantes in "Rewind," even showing a video as proof.

Ilagan's initial asking price was P1 million, which Boss Toyo deemed too expensive. The businessman added Dantes was supposed to sign the casket's mattress but was unable to.

Boss Toyo argued to begin the bidding at the regular selling price of metal coffins, and the two men finally settled on P250,000. The coffin sold included a wheeled bier.

Following the sale, the content creator hoped Dingdong will sign the casket to further certify its price.

In an Instagram story, Dingdong confirmed it was indeed the coffin he used in "Rewind," even joking, "Medyo malambot naman siya sa loob."

"Rewind," which starred Dingdong opposite his wife Marian Rivera for the first time in a decade, competed at the most recent Metro Manila Film Festival.

It went on to become the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, breaking the record held by "Hello, Love, Goodbye," with box office returns at P902 million.
