Alexa Ilacad graduated from college with 1.0 GWA
MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Alexa Ilacad has recently graduated from college, finally officially obtaining her marketing degree.
The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate finished college from Treston International College, with a dean’s lister distinction and an impressive general weighted average of 1.0.
In her Instagram account on Tuesday, Alexa shared photos of herself wearing her toga.
“‘A dream does not become a reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work,’” she quoted Colin Powell in the caption.
She shared in the post that finishing her college education is her greatest achievement yet, expressing her gratitude for her alma mater.
“Still my greatest achievement. I have nothing but gratitude in my heart for my @trestonph family,” she said.
“I am blessed to have had a great support system in school and at home. Thankful for my professors and mentors who helped me power through college without ever sacrificing excellence, and to my peers/barkada for making college life easier!” she added.
Alexa also dedicated her new milestone to her parents and supporters, hoping she's made them proud.
“To my parents & supporters, I hope I made you proud. This one’s for you,” she said.
