MANILA, Philippines — Since publicizing their romance last April, Jimuel Pacquiao, son of boxing champ Sen. Manny Pacquiao, and actress Heaven Peralejo said they are now more comfortable and freer to roam around.

“Mas comfortable na kami ngayon kasi wala na kaming tinatago, so mas free!” Jimuel enthused in a recent interview with Philstar.com during the recent launch of Belo Thermage FLX.

Heaven gives her all-out support for her boyfriend’s boxing career.

“Siyempre, support ako. Nakakatawa kasi si Tito (Manny) one time nagtanong siya, ‘Ready ka na ba na makita si Jim sa ring?' Sabi ko, 'Naku, Tito, ano pa ba magagawa ko?'” Heaven said.

“Siyempre nandito lang naman ako to support him as well as kung paano niya ako support sa career ko. Siyempre, mahirap intindihin sometimes, but super support lang din naman siya sa akin,” she added.

Heaven previously said she met the boxing champ’s son in a mall and then they accidentally met again after a year.

“Two years ago, nasa Greenbelt lang kami ni mom tapos biglang he saw us, 'yong family niya, 'yong mga pinsan niya, tapos nagpa-picture sila,” Heaven said.

“Tapos one year later parang nag-meet ulit kami, same place, tapos coincidence, same month,” Jimuel added.

When asked what she likes about Jimuel, Heaven said: “Super humble niyang tao and may takot siya kay God. (He's) full of surprises. Biglang magdadala na lang ng food o ng flowers, biglang pupunta sa taping, ganon.”

What relationship advice did they get from their parents?

“Maging honest at hindi pwedeng mawala ‘yung respeto sa isa't isa,” Jimuel said. — Videos by Erwin Cagadas Jr.
