Will Sam Adjani be our first Mr. World?

MANILA, Philippines – Model/fitness trainer Sam Ajdani (photo) is the country’s bet in the biennial Mr. World Pageant on July 19 at the UK where he will compete with 50 hopefuls in five challenges including Talent, Fashion & Style, Extreme Challenge, Sports and Multi-Media.

The 25-year-old Filipino-Persian said about ‘The Search for the World’s Most Desirable Man’, ‘I feel like I’m in a good place right now, and I’m ready to enjoy this exciting journey. The real prize and honor is representing the country.’

In 2013 pageant, Philippine bet Andrew Wolfe finished first runner-up.

For the national costume event, Sam will wear a Frederick Peralta Barong Tagalog made of dyed smoke black jusi silk with the richness of Mindanao Sea as the inspiration for hand-painted prints and enhanced with gold thread embroidery.

Sam has been undergoing rigorous physical training as well as Q&A training under the supervision of Jonas Gaffud and his Aces & Queens team of pageant specialists. He aalso got tips from 2014 Mr. World Philippines John Spainhour and Mr. World Philippines chairman Arnold Vegafria whose ALV Events International is the official local franchise holder of the pageant.
