MANILA, Philippines - Miss Australia Monika Radulovic revealed that she and other candidates of the 64th Miss Universe pageant knew Philippines's Pia Wurtzbach is the winner even before Steve Harvey corrected his blunder.

“I still really can’t believe it happened. The girls, the rest of us—the 77 contestants— were on the side of the stage and we actually saw the teleprompter. It said ‘Philippines, please take your first walk as Miss Universe’ after Colombia was crowned.” the Australian beauty queen said in an interview with Australian morning show.

Miss Universe: Wrong Winner Crowned

#EXCLUSIVE: Monika Radulovic says contestants could see the autocue and Miss Philippines WAS listed as the winner. They knew Steve Harvey made a mistake. "We could see the teleprompter - it said 'Philippines please take your walk as Miss Universe'" #sun7 #MissUniverse2015

The 64th Miss Universe was fumed with controversy when Harvey misread the name of the winner of the pageant. After announcing that Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez is the winner, he went back on stage few minutes later to announce that Wurtzbach is the real victor.

The pandemonium has caused a social media outrage and has caught international news, with others claiming that Miss Colombia was robbed of her title.

Reflecting on the controversial acoronation night, Radulovic said she felt bad for both Gutierrez and Wurtzbach.

"My heart goes out to both girls. For Colombia... that feeling of winning. You could see she was crying of joy and then getting that taken away. At the same time,  for the Philippines because she didn’t really have that amazing victory."
