Pia Wurtzbach makes it to top 15 of Miss Universe 2015

MANILA, Philippines - Philippine bet Pia Wurtzbach made it to the top 15 of the 64th Miss Universe pageant on Sunday (Monday morning, Philippine time).

This was announced midway through the Miss Universe pageant, held at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Other candidates who made it to the semi-finals so far are:

• Miss Brazil
• Miss Australia
• Miss Indonesia
• Miss Dominican Republic
• Miss France
• Miss USA
• Miss Curacao
• Miss Belgium
• Miss Japan
• Miss Venezuela
• Miss South Africa
• Miss Colombia
• Miss Mexico
• Miss Thailand

Pia hopes to surpass her Binibining Pilipinas predecessor Mary Jean Lastimosa, who finished in the top 10 during the 63rd Miss Universe pageant earlier this year.
