G-Star VIP night

MANILA, Philippines - To celebrate the birthday of Sid Maderazo, G-Star’s brand ambassador, the fashion brand hosted an intimate gathering last Oct. 29 at the G-Star store in BGC.

Invited guests included VIPs, celebrities and the media who were all there to witness the big event. Maderazo, who is a sought-after commercial director and partner at 88storey films, has always been lauded for his personal style.

 Urban with an edgy, masculine spin, Maderazo’s style is perfect for G-Star.

The Dutch fashion powerhouse has been going by the philosophy, “just the product” — a single-minded approach which has proven to be effective through the years. It has also led to a number of “denim firsts,” introducing “luxury denim for the streets,” which fuses high-level craftsmanship with street-level edge, positioning of raw, untreated denim as a wearable and desirable material; and adopting architectural and 3D thinking into denim construction.

G-Star also collaborates with other forward-thinking artists. That’s why it’s happy to have Maderazo as brand ambassador in the Philippines. During the event, Maderazo presented a special video that showcased his G-Star style.
