Rachelle wins Best Actress in West End Awards

MANILA, Philippines - Rachelle Ann Go (photo) won Best Featured Actress in a musical at the 2014 Broadway World UK West End Awards for her portrayal of Gigi in Miss Saigon. She has been playing the bar-girl role, originated by fellow Filipina Isay Alvarez in 1998, since the megahit Cameron Mackintosh musical started its re-run at the Prince Edward Theatre in London’s West End. It’s the debut on world stage of Rachelle who won Best Actress for her performance as Ariel in Little Mermaid in the same awards given in the Philippines for local performances.
