MANILA, Philippines- Sharon Cuneta's letter was intended for the megastar's fans, daughter KC Concepcion believes.

On Monday, Sharon posted an open letter on her Facebook page, and admitted that she made wrong career choices and that she has taken herself for granted.

In a text message sent to MJ Felipe, aired on “Bandila” on Thursday, KC said her mother didn't mention to her that she's going through something.

“Nag-usap kami ni Mom and wala naman syang na-mention sa akin na problem. Masaya nga yung talk nami sa phone nun,”she recalled.

KC then said she thinks that the letter is addressed to the Megastar's fans.

“I feel na that open letter is Mom's way of letting her fans know that she is still here, and she still cares for them,” she said. “Sa lahat ng ginagawa ng mom ko, she always remembers her fans and wants them to be happy. It's her way of saying she has not forgotten them.”

KC also addressed  her mother's statement about failing to manage her weight.

“Her struggle to get back in shape is a long process, hindi naman ganun kadaling magpapayat to be honest,” KC said. She also thanked  everyone who is supporting Sharon, and particularly Judy Ann Santos.

“I am very thankful that Ate Juday has always been there for my mom, sincere sya sa friendship nya and she's part of our family.”

At the end of the message, KC is positive that her mother will get through this struggle, especially that she's surrounded by people who believe in her.

“Like Ate Juday, me, our family, friends and her loyal fans are all behind her 100 percent. Kaya nya yan!!!”
