DMCI takes condo-resort dev’t to higher level

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Sky is the limit for residential resort leader DMCI Homes as it continues to expand its horizon, venturing into taller condominium offerings as it moves forward into its 16th year of operations.

DMCI Homes, the pioneer in resort-themed mid-rise residential condominium communities in Metro Manila, plans to pursue its urban living innovation by taking its expertise into the next level –  high-rise development.

From its initial five-and six-story residential communities, DMCI Homes has gone a long way since its humble beginnings in 1999.

The property company of the Consunji family has managed to establish itself as a leader in mid-rise homes with developments such as the Hampstead Gardens in Manila, Magnolia Place in Quezon City, Vista de Lago and Rainbow Ridge in Taguig City, East Ortigas Mansion in Pasig City, and Palm Grove in Paranaque City.

As the years went by, the name DMCI Homes has become synonymous with spacious units, generous amenities, strategic location, affordability and a unique building design which facilitates natural ventilation and lighting.

With the success of its mid-rise developments, DMCI Homes followed on with its momentum as it started building communities that mixed mid-rise projects with residential buildings of 10 to 30 floors.

Among such developments are Stellar Place in Quezon City, Rosewood Pinte in Acacia Estates, Taguig City and Dansalan Gardens in Mandaluyong City.

As its buildings became higher, DMCI Homes accompanied its projects’ growth and diversification with a roof deck amenity called Sky Lounge, now a standard feature of DMCI Homes residences.

But even with all of its projects’ high demand, DMCI Homes did not rest on its laurels as it continues to stride towards condominium living innovation.

Lately, DMCI Homes took a step forward as it ventured into high-rise communities featuring 40-floor residences.

The property developer’s newly completed Flair Towers in Mandaluyong City and upcoming Sheridan Towers in Mandaluyong,  Lumiere Residences in Pasig City, and Brio Tower in Makati City are testaments to DMCI Homes’ diversification and evolution into a premier developer over the past 16 years.

Flair Towers are two 40-story residential condominiums on a 1.7-hectare property at the corner of Reliance and Pines streets.

Sherilyn Benosa, project development head of Flair Towers, said the project’s first building was completed in February last year while the second building was finished last December.

“For the whole development, both towers, we’re already 99 percent sold out,”  Benosa said.

DMCI Homes intends to replicate Flair Towers’ success with three more high-rise developments currently under construction.

Sheridan Towers, a twin high-rise along Sheridan St. near Pioneer St., will be a resort condominium that will have lush landscapes and water features.

Its south tower is set for completion by November 2018 while the north tower will be finished by May 2020.

Pasig’s Lumiere Residences, meanwhile, will consist of two 37-story towers to rise at the corner of Shaw and Pasig Boulevard. The project’s east tower is scheduled for completion by October 2018 while the west tower is eyed to be finished by June 2019.

DMCI Homes is also making its first high-rise development in Makati City through the 30-story Brio Tower in Guadalupe Viejo near EDSA.

“These projects represent the company’s competitiveness in the growing residential condo market and the continuous appeal of its resort-style residence to homebuyers,” DMCI Homes said.
