China Bank has new risk officer

MANILA, Philippines - China Banking Corp. (China Bank) has appointed Ananiasm”Jong” S. Cornelio III as chief risk officer (CRO) and head of Risk Management Group (RMG), with the rank of first vice president. Cornelio has over 15 years of banking experience in the area of risk and control. Prior to joining China Bank, he was the CRO of the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and was instrumental in spearheading the development of the bank’s risk management capability and its adoption of the Basel standards.
