The Romulo Mabanta Buenaventura Sayoc & De Los Angeles has lined up three senior officials of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) at 1 p.m. on Feb. 10 at the Top of the Citi on the 34th Floor of the Citibank Tower on Paseo de Roxas, Makati City to indicate what the directions the economy and financial regulations are likely to take looking forward. Expected to attend are the banking sector’s various publics represented by the officials and members of trade organizations like the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP), Trust Officers Association of the Philippines (TOAP), and MART. BSP Deputy Governor Diwa Guinigundo will start off with a quick look back at 2008 and a reasoned forecast of how the economy and banking industry will fare in 2009. BSP Deputy Governor Nestor Espenilla Jr. and BSP Assistant Governor and General Counsel Juan de Zuñiga Jr. will then take the floor. Lawyers attending the session will be given MCLE credits for their participation.
