GAC Motor plans to launch 6 new MPVs this year

MANILA, Philippines — Automotive firm GAC Motor Philippines continues to expand its product offerings as it plans to launch at least six new multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs) this year.

In a statement, the company said it recently previewed two of the MPVs planned to be launched this year at the inauguration of its Alabang dealership, particularly the M8 and M6 Pro models.

“These new multi-purpose vehicles are the first installment of six vehicles that the company plans to launch in the coming year,” GAC Motor Philippines said.

Apart from widening its product offerings, the company has also been aggressive in opening new dealerships in the country.

It said that it closed 2023 on a high note as it set up 20 dealer outlets in strategic locations across the country, including GAC Motor Alabang.

 The company said inauguration of its Alabang dealership took place in the presence of executives from GAC International (China), its local distributor Astara Philippines and dealer partner AutoIcon.

“We have a solid trust in AutoIcon, and we believe that with our partnership and support for each other, they shall continue to contribute greatly to the stellar growth of the GAC Motor brand in the country,” Astara Philippines Managing Director Raoul Picello said.

GAC Motor said the Alabang dealership is the first showroom in the Philippines that complies with GAC’s global showroom standards, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing experience for all its customers.

“The showroom has the capacity to display up to four vehicles, providing customers with a comprehensive showcase of GAC MOTOR’s exceptional lineup,” GAC said.

It added that the dealership is also a fully outfitted 3S facility, and may provide full operational support for sales, service and spare parts for all GAC Motor vehicles.

For after-sales services, GAC MOTOR Alabang offers a service area featuring six car bays equipped with diagnostic systems.

In addition, the facility houses a well stocked warehouse with genuine parts and tools, ensuring swift and efficient service for all GAC Motor vehicle owners.
