IPG Mediabrands tops media agency rankings

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — IPG Mediabrands has been ranked the number one media agency group in the Philippines, on top of other network agencies, based on the latest RECMA qualitative report.

RECMA is the only independent company to publish a wide range of media agency notation reports on a global scale. It collects and analyzes data from more than 1,400 media agencies in 90 countries.

In individual agency rankings, IPG Mediabrands agencies UM and Initiative ranked second and third, jumping several places from earlier reports this year as well as last year’s rankings.

UM ends the year with a high-profile assessment. Initiative scores a high profile ranking as well, benefiting from a very strong momentum with the second highest new business balance and second best client portfolio growth in the market.

As a group, IPG Mediabrands ranked number one and jumps ahead of a very tough and competitive field on the back of its strength on structure, competitiveness and overall vitality.

“We share this recognition with our clients and partners as we uphold our philosophy of “Winning Together”. As a community, we power through to continuously elevate our craft, for the good of brands and businesses while lifting and inspiring our teams,” said Tricia Camarillo-Quiambao, IPG Mediabrands CEO.
