Master class in critical thinking, problem solving, decision making

MANILA, Philippines — As part of the advocacy of the Center for Global Best Practices, it is launching next month its pioneering Leadership Evolution Program starting with the Masterclass in Critical Thinking, Problem Solving and Decision Making, a four-session training to be held on Oct. 5, 6, 12 and 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m, via Zoom.

This master class is aligned with the learning and development requirement for career advancement of division chiefs and executives/managerial positions in government and also for those in the private sector.  One of the most important things to understand is that critical thinking is involved in strategic thinking. These are the leadership skills required in the 21st century civil servants, professionals, managers. Those in the private sectors who are trained in such skill set are highly sought after by employers to fill the positions in the leadership pipelines of their organizations.

Many of the training programs available in the market are focused on problem solving and simply provide problem solving tools. What many miss out on is the importance of critical and analytical thinking which are the foundations of problem solving. This unique training program will focus on the mutually reinforcing skill sets (CT-PS-DM) featuring the proprietary world-class RISE Framework, learning tools, best practices techniques.

Attendees are encouraged to bring an actual workplace problem to the training, look for root causes, and arrive at the best possible solutions. It also includes a unique module on how to communicate, sell and implement your ideas and solutions.

This CGBP masterclass will feature Nelson Dy, an author, thought leader, trainer, advocate and workshop facilitator of topics such as critical thinking, public speaking, coaching, quality life and work purpose, and spirituality. He is one of the top executives of a conglomerate who is in charge of a manufacturing and packaging facility with over 200 people under his leadership.

Registration is open to the general public. A must not only for those struggling to solve problems but also to everyone who wants to be a better student, professional, manager, leader, board director or business owner.
