Catherine Talavera - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines — Property developer Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) continues to make progress with the development of its Bridgetowne estate in between the cities of Quezon and Pasig, as it expects to open mall and office components of the master planned district this year.

RLC is targeting to open the Opus mall, a premier upscale mall in the second half of the year.

The five-story mall features approximately 50,000 square meters of leasable space.

In addition, the company is also making progress in the estate’s office offerings as it is also set to complete the buildings of its GBF Center 1 and 2 buildings.

RLC said GBF Center 1 is set to be completed in the first quarter of the year, while its twin GBF Center 2 is targeted to be completed late this year.

Based on its website, GBF Center 1 is a 30-story prime office development registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). The office tower will be connected to the GBF Center 2 thru basement and podium parking floors, ground floor retail, and 9th floor common deck for the two towers.

Apart from the two office towers, RLC said there are currently four office buildings operational in the Bridgetowne estate. Among these are the Tera Tower, Exxa Tower, Zeta Tower and Giga Tower.

Meanwhile, RLC said there are several residential projects in the Bridgetowne estate that are under construction.

Among these projects is the 45-story Velaris Residences, a joint project of RLC with HongKong Land, targeted at the upscale market.

RLC has also partnered with Shang Properties Inc. to build the Haraya Residences.

Other residential projects to rise in the Bridgetowne estate include the 40-story tall Cirrus Residences and the newly-launched Le Pont Residences.

In addition, Bridgetown will also be home to the 300-room 5-star Fili Hotel.

Connecting the cities of Quezon and Pasig, the 31-hectare Bridgetown estate is just a few minutes away from the Ortigas CBD, it has access to major thoroughfares including C-5, Ortigas Avenue Extension, and Amang Rodriguez Avenue.

Apart from the commercial and residential components of the estate, RLC is also making progress with key elements that make the township unique. This includes the 60-meter The Victor, a high public art installation set to be a landmark, and The Bridge designed by the late national artist Francisco Mañosa, which connects Quezon City and Pasig City.

RLC said The Victor and the bridge are set to be launched by June.

The property developer is also set to open the football field certified by the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

RLC completed the land development of Bridgetowne East, the Pasig City side of the development, in the fourth quarter of 2022.
