The year of the DoubleDragon
The partnership between young billionaire Edgar “Injap” Sia II and Tony Tan Caktiong is proving to be extremely propitious, judging from the very successful opening and inauguration of DoubleDragon Plaza, the first of four phases that comprise DD Meridian Park — the flagship project of DoubleDragon Properties.

Gracing the inauguration were Cabinet officials led by Finance Secretary Sonny Dominguez and newly appointed Tourism Secretary Berna Romulo Puyat, and business bigwigs such as Peter Coyiuto and members of the diplomatic circle, among them Singaporean Ambassador Kok Li Peng.
The combined force of Injap and Tony — who were both born under the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese zodiac — has given rise to a very dynamic real estate corporation whose vision is to become one of the Top 5 largest property companies in the country by 2020.

DoubleDragon Plaza is approximately 130,000 square meters of office space split across four towers sitting on top of a retail podium, with each tower housing seven floors of office space. Each office tower has its own individual lobby and set of elevators for maximum privacy and efficiency. At its full capacity, DoubleDragon Plaza can accommodate over 20,000 employees, with more than 2,200 parking slots available across three parking floors.
A notable feature at the ground floor is Islas Pinas, an indoor Filipino Food and Heritage Village that celebrates Filipino cuisine, culture and architecture. It will also showcase quality handicrafts and products that are uniquely Filipino, making it an ideal place for visitors to get a taste of what the Philippines has to offer.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most widely used green building rating system in the world, and buildings that have this certification are environment friendly, are cost-efficient, and have a positive impact on the health of occupants while promoting renewable and clean energy.
Phase 2 of DD Meridian Park is slated for completion by year-end, while phases 3 and 4 are targeted for completion in 2020. Once fully developed, DD Meridian Park will have about 280,000 square meters of leasable space.
