My Fanny Valentine!

To celebrate the day of love, top makeup artist Fanny Serrano teamed up with Japanese skincare and cosmetics brands Naturactor and LB to give our dear readers three fabulously gorgeous looks that will certainly keep hearts aflutter!

“Where will your special someone take you on Valentine’s Day?” Fanny asked. “For college students, it may be lunch. For young adults it may very well be dinner out in a restaurant. For the sophisticate, it could be dinner out followed by dancing or a show. No matter what the occasion will bring, I have got you covered!”

The lunch date: Natural look

For the skin: Fanny used the following Naturactor Cover Face Concealer shades: #171, which is great for neutralizing and covering acne spots and redness; #141, which is suitable for medium skintone and has a natural fit yet translucent effect; and #151, which has a good coverage for face defects and contouring. The product is sensitive-skin safe, blendable, fragrance-free, oil-free and non-cakey.

He then applied Naturactor Powder Foundation w/ sponge puff using shades #240 as base foundation, which easily hides blemishes and dark spots and is ideal for sensitive skin; and #252 for contouring.

Fanny sealed the look with Naturactor Silky Lucent Loose Powder (as finishing powder). He used a combination of #31 and #41 shades, which are non-drying, non-patchy and reveals a non-cakey finish.

For the eyes: Fanny applied two shades of LB Gorgeous Eyes on the upper and lower eyelids: Gorgeous Gold as base eyeshadow; and Gorgeous Brown for a natural accent on the eyelids. This eyeshadow allows even beginners to apply makeup like pros. The product offers fine, silky pearl shine to reflect light to enhance gloss and richness

He also used LB Smooth Rich Liquid Eyeliner in Black. This no-smudge, waterproof eyeliner dries quickly to block the cause of the wrinkle from sweat, water and tears prone to sebum.

Then, he used the LB Smudge Gel Eyeliner on the lower inner eyelid for a wide-eyed effect. The liner is gel-based, water- and fade-proof.

For the cheeks: Fanny applied the highly pigmented LB Velvet Cheek Color in Natural Peach to create a fresh and vibrant low. He followed up with LB Velvet Cheek Color in Light Nectar to create a sun-kissed effect.

For the lashes: To coat the lashes, he used LB Volume Lash Pro for a self-curling, glossy black finish.

For the lips: Fanny applied LB Essence Rouge Shine in Shiny Peche (Baby Pink) for that naturally moist, luscious lips.

The elegant look

Fanny followed the same foundation and concealer protocol from the Natural look.

For the eyes: Fanny used LB Glam Jelly Eyes in Grayish Sangria on the model’s upper and lower eyelids. This lightweight, gel-based eyeshadow gives off a lustrous finish.He then highlighted the brow bone with Pink Beige shade.

For the cheeks: He combined LB Velvet Cheek Color’s Brown and Dark Orange shades in order to flush and contour the cheeks.

For the lips: Fanny used Naturactor Lipstick #526/H1B.

The sophisticate

For the skin: Fanny followed the Natural look concealer protocol but applied luminous and pore/blemish-concealing LB Neo Skin Foundation as a base.

For the eyes: He created a stronger, smokier eye look using LB Glam Jelly Eyes in Elements Black. Then, he applied Champagne Gold and Glitter White shades on the brow bone.

For the cheeks: Fanny applied LB Velvet Cheek Color in Natural Peach and Brown for an even more chiseled look.

For the lips: Fanny finished the look with Naturactor #5 Wine shade. *
