MANILA, Philippines - With its aim to empower the youth and allow them to reach their full potential, First Pacific Leadership Academy (FPLA), the first premier corporate university in the country, launches “Masters of Design — Executive Talks.” This series of talks is in line with the academy’s fifth anniversary celebration.

As Filipino talent and innovativeness are growing leaps and bounds, both within the country and internationally, FPLA saw how these “Thought Leaders” in design, who are renowned masters in their fields, will be able to influence the young leaders of the country through insightful and thought-provoking conversations that will speak of their journey in the diverse and competitive world of design.

Roy Agustin Evalle, general manager and executive director of FPLA, shares, “Our illustrious chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan has always been a leader immensely supportive of diverse industries. If there is one person who firmly believes in how ‘Thought Leaders’ are able to influence and inspire the young generation, the leaders of tomorrow, that would be him.  The way he continuously finds ways to make the country at par with other nations, and how he supports endeavors that encourage the Filipino to help build our nation in whatever capacity they can, show us all the leader that he is.”

“‘Masters of Design — Executive Talks’ is the academy’s way of encouraging the youth to look into the vastness and the potential that the design field has in store for them, that they are no longer limited to the industries we all have come to grow with,” says Ricky  Vargas, president of the FPLA board of trustees.

The first FPLA Masters of Design — Executive Talks will be held tomorrow, 3 p.m., at the Meralco Theater in Pasig City. It will feature renowned car designer Wini Camacho, who will engage a conversation about his design journey.
