Structured and shiny for the modern hippie

MANILA, Philippines - Expect kaleidoscopic prints, sheer, flowy fabric and the fairy dusted finish. With a name like New Age Constellation, one of the trends in Topshop’s newest collection, is a nod to the ‘70s as much as it is a beckon to the modern hippie. The collection, however, also takes inspiration from the “pared-down look of the mid-‘90s” which, essentially, means clean, classic tailoring, shift dresses in sheer and solid fabric, asymmetric hemlines and a lot of white. The overall feel is a time warp challenge, enabling the style-phile to incorporate both romantic and futuristic aesthetics.
