Past forward

In these troubled times, designers are again looking to the past for inspiration.

This mood board is inspired by furniture and fashions from the late ’60s and early ’70s, a time when people embraced the positive prospects of the future as they saw it. This is no hippy-inspired vintage, as seen in recent seasons, but rather a sleeker, more contemporary feel, blending modern materials with slick silhouettes, in tune with the present-day yearning for change.
