Mayweather, Pacquiao to hold LA presser

MANILA, Philippines – Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao will start drumming up their May 2 showdown with an exclusive press event on March 11 (March 12 Manila time) in Los Angeles.

In a news release, organizers said: “The event is for approved media outfits only and is not open to the public.”

It has been reported earlier that there will be no country-wide press tour for Mayweather and Pacquiao, whose megabuck showdown at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas needs no further hype.

The pay-per-view bout is expected to shatter existing records and seen to go down as the richest boxing match ever.
