Padit, Martinez share ABC bowl honors

MANILA, Philippines - Manny Padit of Philflex Wires and Cables rolled a six-game series 1293 to cop the Group 1 crown while Ricky Martinez of Consnet Construction bagged the Group 2 title with 1023 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at the E Lanes Center, Ortigas Ave., Greenhills, San Juan City last week.

Richie Poblete of Concrete Ventures finished second with 1251 while Denis Jalandoon of Glass Asia had 1241 for third in Group 1 of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Zeny Prudente of Moldex Pipes turned in 1009 while Sonny Esguerra of Romari Construction scored 1005 to place second and third, respectively, in Group 2.

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by E.S.Vidal Builders, Goldbridge Dental, PNS Advanced Steel Tech, Crown Pipes, Steeltech, Miraga Trading, Boysen Acrytex/Knoxout/Healthy Homes/Wallguard, Emerald Pipes, Duraflex TW/THHN/THW Wires, Morning Sun, Novelle Furniture and Nation Paints, resumes at 7 tonight with the holding of first quarterly championship, also at E Lanes.
