ONE FC, MOA Arena agree to multi-year deal

The Philippine Star

SINGAPORE – ONE Fighting Championship (ONE FC) has agreed to a landmark agreement with the Mall of Asia Arena. The historic deal will see Asia’s largest mixed martial arts promotion partner up with the most iconic arena in Philippines to hold ONE FC events twice a year in Manila.

Mall of Asia Arena is an indoor arena within the SM Mall of Asia complex, in Pasay, Philippines. It has a seating capacity of 16,000 for sporting events, and a full house capacity of 20,000. The Arena officially opened on June 16, 2012.

“On behalf of ONE Fighting Championship I will like to warmly welcome Mall of Asia Arena on board as a valued venue partner. We have an outstanding relationship with MOA Arena. Its facilities are the best in Asia and the past two events ONE FC has held there have both been resounding successes. ONE FC fans in the Philippines can look forward to catching more world-class mixed martial arts action live in person in 2014 and beyond!” ONE FC CEO Victor Cui said in a statement.

The management of MOA Arena is likewise thrilled with the multiple-year partnership

“ONE Fighting Championship has a proven track record of putting on world-class mixed martial arts events all across Asia, including multiple events in Manila. MOA Arena is home to top music acts and sporting events and we are excited to add ONE FC to our roster of international sporting and music events,” it said in a statement.
