Intino entries unscathed in world slasher derby
MANILA, Philippines - The first of three semifinal events in the ongoing 2014 World Slasher Cup 8-Cock Invitational Derby unfolds at the Smart Araneta Coliseum today, starting at 2 p.m. with 28 two-pointers and seven bets with a win and a draw apiece leading the way.
Vergil Ali Intino of Butuan Intino, the 2013 World Slasher Cup-1 co-champion, remains unscathed with four straight wins with his entries Taligaman Warbird/Powermax and Taligaman Warbird/LDI.
Hosted by the Pintakasi of Champions, the Year of the Horse chapter of the Slasher is sponsored by Thunderbird Bexan XP, Sagupaan Complexor 3000, BMEG Integra, Supremo Gamefowl Feeds and Petron.
The two-cock semifinals end Jan. 23 followed with a one-day ceasefire on the 26th, before the 4-cock finals on the 27th for entries with 2, 2.5 or 3 points and on the 28th for those with accumulated scores of 3.5 or 4 points.
